Understanding Roles

BYNDIO uses a role-based system. Every person who signs up is a Customer by default. From there, they can apply for additional roles.

  1. User signs up — They become a Customer automatically.
  2. User applies for a role — They visit a “Become a…” page (e.g., https://byndio.in/become/seller), read about the benefits, then click to apply.
  3. User fills out the application — Each role has its own application form with different fields.
  4. Admin reviews the application — You see the application in the admin panel and either approve or reject it.
  5. User gets access — If approved, the user can now access their new dashboard. If rejected, they see the reason and can reapply.
StatusWhat it means
PendingThe application is waiting for your review. The user sees a “Under Review” message and cannot resubmit.
ApprovedThe user has full access to their role dashboard. A link appears in their account.
RejectedThe user sees your rejection reason and can choose to apply again with updated information.
