Approving Applications
When someone on BYNDIO wants to become a Seller, Supplier, Influencer, Affiliate, or Brand, they fill out an application. That application comes to you for review. This is one of your most important responsibilities — you are the gatekeeper for who gets to operate on the platform.
Where to find applications
Section titled “Where to find applications”Each role has its own section in the admin sidebar:
- Sellers — Seller applications.
- Suppliers — Supplier applications.
- Influencers — Influencer applications.
- Affiliates — Affiliate applications.
- Brands — Brand applications.
In each section, look for entries with a Pending status badge. These are the ones waiting for your review.
Reviewing an application
Section titled “Reviewing an application”Click on a pending application to see the full details. What you see depends on the role:
- Sellers — Business name, registration number, tax ID, business type, bank details.
- Suppliers — Business name, product categories they supply, regions they serve.
- Influencers — Display name, bio, niche categories, social media links, follower count.
- Affiliates — Display name, promotion channels, product categories of interest.
- Brands — Brand name, website, description.
Making a decision
Section titled “Making a decision”You have two options:
Approve
Section titled “Approve”Click the Approve button. The applicant gets instant access to their role-specific dashboard. They can start listing products (sellers), creating storefronts (influencers), generating links (affiliates), or posting campaigns (brands) right away. They receive a notification letting them know they have been approved.
Reject
Section titled “Reject”Click the Reject button. You will be asked to provide a reason — this is required. The applicant sees your reason on their account page. They can then choose to update their information and apply again.
Always provide a clear, specific reason for rejection. “Incomplete application” is better than just “Rejected.” And “Please upload a valid business registration document” is even better. The more helpful your reason, the more likely the applicant will come back with a proper application.
Tips for reviewing
Section titled “Tips for reviewing”Sellers
Section titled “Sellers”- Check that the business name looks legitimate.
- If bank details seem unusual (mismatched names, incomplete info), ask for clarification rather than rejecting outright.
- Look at business type — individuals and companies have different expectations.
Influencers
Section titled “Influencers”- Visit their social media links. Are the accounts real and active?
- Check follower counts against what they claimed. A big discrepancy is a red flag.
- Make sure their niche aligns with what BYNDIO sells. A gaming-only influencer might not drive sales for a fashion marketplace.
Affiliates
Section titled “Affiliates”- The bar is lower here since affiliates just share links. As long as they have a real promotion channel, they are usually fine.
- Watch out for spam-oriented applicants — if their stated channels look like they plan to spam, it is better to reject.
Suppliers
Section titled “Suppliers”- Verify that they can actually supply the categories they claim.
- Check the regions they serve — make sure they overlap with where your customers are.
Brands
Section titled “Brands”- Visit their website if they provided one.
- Make sure the brand description makes sense and they are a real business.
Changing someone’s status later
Section titled “Changing someone’s status later”Approving or rejecting is not permanent. If you approved someone and they later violate platform rules, you can change their role status from their user profile. Similarly, if you rejected someone and they reach out with updated information, you can reconsider.
